“ Stopped by the bakery on a trip to Starved Rock. Great selection of sweet treats and savory baked goods. I got a scone, cinnamon twist, and a turkey cheddar croissant. Everything tasted delicious, especially the savory croissant. It was served warm and was stuffed with turkey. The price is affordable as well! ”
“ I hosted an open house for my real estate listing and needed petite desserts to complement the wine tasting. Holly and her staff exceeded my expectations! The miniature cups filled with chocolate mousse and topped with strawberries, as well as those filled with key lime mousse decorated with whipped cream, were an absolute hit at my event! “ Cake for my daughters 21st Birthday was exactly what we wanted and it tasted SO good was very moist. Staff was very helpful. Ordered via phone. Great experience! ”
“ Thank you for providing desserts for our wedding. Everything was absolutely deliciouswe and our guests couldnt get enough. Several guests may have even lined their pockets with goodies for the bus ride home! The Ottawa Bakery and Holli were SO easy to work with, which is such a relief when planning a wedding. I would recommend The Ottawa Bakery 100x over. ”
“ This is, by far, my favorite place in town. They never miss, the food is always SO good. They have the best spinach and cheese croissants. Most times, they have some kind of frittata or quiche, and those are absolutely amazing as well. The bear claws, mini tarts and mini pies are great. Depending on the day, one or all of these may be available. Grab anything they do have, because I guarantee youll love it. Try it out if youve never been! Or try something new if you havent tried all of the above! ”
“ We traveled to Ottawa from Chicago to Vacation near the river. So glad we went to the Ottawa Bakery. The cake Donuts were so light and fluffy! We also got a few pieces of their blueberry bundt cake, and it was fantastic. The raspberry scones were rich and wonderful. They had a extensive fresh made cookie selection including Hersheys Kisses within the peanutbutter cookies. without Question I give the Ottawa Bakery five stars! ”
“ This cute little bakery is a hidden gem of Ottawa, making pasteries on par with what Ive had in the shoppes in France. The almond filled puff pastery was as aesthetically beautiful as it was scrumptious, the peach cheese danish had an indicative butter crispyness, yet soft center, I cannot wait to get to the danish crumble pecan sweetroll. If youre looking to send baked good for the holidays, this is the preimere destination in this area! The atmosphere is welcoming of a cornerstyle bakery, the individuals there clearly love what theyre doing. You can be sure I will be back... ”
“ This was the highlight of downtown Ottawa! We are visiting from out of town at the little cabins and needed some breakfast pastries. We ended up getting a good assortment. Are it so quickly that I forgot to take pictures. The cherry almond scone was my favorite. It was moist and had huge cherry chunks. The oatmeal Whoopi pie was also delicious! It was a family favorite. The cream inside tasted like pumpkin. The oatmeal cookie on the outside was chewy and soft in the middle and crispier on the edges. The cookies were gobbled up by the kids. The Apple fritter was okay per my husband, he said too sweet. The cinnamon bun was recommended by the cabin and also good. The staff was so sweet and even gave bubbles for the kids! Cute sitting area outside too. ”
